Learn to cook with confidence—not just follow recipes.

Whether you're newly navigating food allergies, cooking for someone you love, or simply ready to become a more confident home cook, you're in the right place.

Food should never feel intimidating.

My role isn't simply to teach recipes--it's to help you understand why techniques work, recognize what your senses are telling you, and leave with the confidence to recreate great food long after class ends.

You don't need to know where to begin.

That’s my job.

What You Can Expect

For more than 30 years, I've taught and mentored people at every stage of their culinary journey—from training luxury hotel pastry teams, new employees, interns, and culinary professionals to helping families confidently navigate food allergies for the very first time.

My approach was shaped by world-class hospitality organizations, including Four Seasons Hotels, the Freeman Training Institute, years as an Executive Pastry Chef, and decades of leading hands-on culinary education.

Across every kitchen, every classroom, and every student, one belief has never changed:

People learn best by doing.

That's why every class is intentionally small, interactive, and hands-on—giving you the time, guidance, and confidence to practice new skills instead of simply watching someone else cook.

Whether you're learning one-on-one or in a small group, you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, practice techniques, and build confidence without ever feeling rushed or overlooked.

For many of my clients—especially those living with food allergies or celiac disease—a smaller class isn't just more enjoyable.

It feels safer.

And that's intentional.

I don't teach recipes.

I teach people to trust themselves in the kitchen.

You'll hear me ask things like...

  • "What do you notice?"

  • "What's different?"

  • "What's your opinion?"

Those questions aren't quizzes.

They're how confidence is built.

Instead of giving you every answer, Ill guide you toward discovering them yourself. Because once you recognize what you're seeing, smelling tasting. and feeling, you'll be able to recreate those results long after class is over.

What Makes My Classes Different?

Instead of simply following instructions, you'll learn to...

  • Understand why cooking techniques work--not just how to follow them.

  • Build confidence through hands-on practice in small, supportive classes.

  • Cook safely using allergen-free principles you can apply to everyday meals.

  • Learn practical gluten-free cooking techniques that improve flavor, texture, and consistency.

  • Adapt recipes for food allergies, celiac disease, and dietary preferences without sacrificing flavor

  • Develop cooking skills instead of memorizing recipes.

  • Troubleshoot confidently when something doesn't go as planned.

  • Cook with curiosity not fear.

  • Leave understanding why something worked-not just that it worked.

A Kitchen Designed for Peace of Mind

Learning should feel exciting not stressful.

That's why classes are intentionally kept small, allowing plenty of time for questions, conversation and individualized coaching

Even more importantly, my teaching kitchen is a dedicated gluten-free facility.

For many people living with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, simply walking into a traditional teaching kitchen can create anxiety about cross-contact.

Here, you can focus on learning—not worrying.

My goal is for you to leave with practical skills, greater confidence, and the peace of mind that comes from cooking in a safe, welcoming environment.

Whether you're navigating food allergies, supporting someone you love, or simply ready to enjoy food again, I'd love to help you build the skills to make allergen-free cooking feel natural.
